36.5 weeks

I can hardly believe Baby Blake is almost here! I went for my 37 week appointment yesterday and after being hooked up to a machine to monitor my contractions and the fetal heart beat, the doctor was surprised how many contractions I was having. I am not dilated yet, but Blakes head is right where it should be and he is ready to go the doctor said. I have had contractions since yesterday, but not close enough to go to the hospital yet. What a birthday surprise for Shane (his birthday was yesterday). Right now we are just waiting. Should be anytime!!! Blake weighs about 6 lbs right now...so the doctor is not to worried. More updates to come when we find out more!!! :)

35 weeks

35 weeks and growing!

I can hardly believe in one more month baby Blake will be here. Shane and I started our childbirth classes last week! It has been fun. Blake is a very active little one already! Shane insist he is going to be a soccer player after feeling some of his stronger kicks. He seems to like to kick most at night and when I am trying to take a test at school. I often find myself trying to massage his little foot out of my ribs so I can focus on the next test question :) He is already wanting my full attention :) I just finished writting my thesis paper for school and am glad to have a bit of a break before the little one comes. I have been trying to catch up on sleep and get everything ready for Blake. There is so much to do with a little one on the way :)
